Basso Relievo - an art form of its' own

Artist Hans Ström specializes in bas relief painting and maintains a studio in Motala, a small city in the province of Östergötland, Sweden, a part of Sweden where people have cultivated the earth from time immemorial.

Everywhere there are cultural remains and magical places that tell us about earlier settlers. To be an active part of this place means being a contemporary link in a creative chain thousands of years old.
